Clubs & Activities
Bishop students can participate in a wide variety of after school clubs and activities that change periodically.
Our Bears did a fantastic job representing Bishop at the Lego competition. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teams did a great job presenting their projects and learning. The Reviewers left comments such as "we were inspired by their determination for creating outstanding solutions" and "fascinated with their use of inventive sensors to
create an astonishing product." A favorite comment was "this team hooked us with their attention to [their] local community. Their specific solution to the community's problems excited us with their imaginative-ness." Also, a big shout out to the 5th and 6th grade teams who presented on their projects from last fall. The younger students were awed by all the awesome stuff they saw you do! Also, a big thanks to Mrs. Cowles and Mr. Quarton we can't make this work without all of your support!
Bishop will be offering a FREE after school string orchestra club this year led by Ms. Gruben, our music teacher! Bishop will be partnering with Englewood Arts to provide this amazing opportunity for students to learn violin, viola, or cello in a group orchestra class. The club will be offered to students in grades 3-6. The after-school club will meet at 3:00-4:00 and will last for two quarters with a final concert in March. The string orchestra club will be limited to 25 students who get their application turned in to Ms. Gruben. For more information please email Ms. Gruben at firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration is now full.
